Join us in assembling Battalion Buddy Bears to support the children of our nation’s service members! In celebration of Month of the Military Child this April, Pride in Service is partnering with Operation Gratitude to deliver Battalion Buddies to the children of deployed troops. Together as ONE CSX, volunteers will come together in a hybrid environment on March 4th.

A reinforcement of our commitment to support military families, the stuffed bears are intended to offer comfort to children of service members as we acknowledge their sacrifices during the Month of the Military Child. Together, we will produce 3,500 Battalion Buddy bears.

In 1986, April was designated as Month of the Military Child to recognize the sacrifices and resilience of military children. Since 2019, CSX has sponsored the assembly and delivery of over 13,500 Battalion Buddies! Through this hybrid volunteer event, all registrants will be able to do their part in completing an important mission together. This event is part of CSX’s 2025 commitment to assemble and distribute 13,000 Battalion Buddies to the children of deployed servicemembers nationwide. 

Please note: each registrant may order up to (2) two battalion buddy event boxes that can be assembled with fellow teammates or family members. If an employee registers for more than two kits, we will remove the additional kits from the order form.
