Distribution of Care Packages at JBSA-Lackland

Join Operation Gratitude in San Antonio on Fridays to distribute Care Packages to our newest Air and Space Force Graduates before they depart JBSA-Lackland to thank them as they begin their Military service.

These Care Packages will offer a small reminder to service members that Americans across the nation support them and appreciate their service and sacrifice.

 

Interested individuals should sign up in advance to participate. Volunteers ages 13 and up are welcome.

Base Access:

Enter through the Luke East visitors gate located at:

2602 Luke Blvd., San Antonio, TX 78236

You will need to pick up your visitor pass at the Luke East Visitors Center by approximately 5:45 am.

If you need base access, please submit to Alanna Stuckert via email (astuckert@operationgratitude.com) the below information for ALL visitors by COB on Monday before the Friday you volunteer:

  • Last Name, First Name
  • DOB
  • Country of Birth
  • ID Type (DL/ID Card/Veteran’s ID Card/Passport/Permanent Residence Card/US Citizenship & Immigration Services)
  • ID Number
  • Country of Issue
  • State of Issue

Clothing/Accessories:

  • We suggest wearing close-toed shoes
  • Company/organization branding is encouraged.
  • Participants may wear gloves if preferred; however, gloves must be provided by the participant

Parking: You will park in the blue Visitor Parking area and walk around the Reception Center to the back side of the building (marked with a yellow star) and then walk through the corridor to the grandstand area.  See photo on below.
