A Magical Milestone

Operation Gratitude Celebrates a "Magical Milestone"
with 4 Million Care Packages Delivered

Earlier this year, Operation Gratitude reached a remarkable milestone: delivering our four millionth Care Package to a deserving servicemember! This “Magical Milestone” was made even more special with a surprise for our four millionth recipient, Sergeant Harris—a single mother stationed at Fort Liberty in North Carolina.
In April, volunteers in Los Angeles gathered to assemble this milestone Care Package. Comedian Jay Leno joined the team to help seal the box, adding extra excitement to the event. When the package arrived in the Middle East in early June, Sgt. Harris was excited to discover a once-in-a-lifetime surprise inside: an all-expenses-paid trip to Walt Disney World® Resort for her and her family, generously sponsored by The Walt Disney Company. In November, Sgt. Harris and her children experienced the magic of Disney, creating unforgettable memories as a family.
Sgt. Harris’s Care Package is one of millions sent to our Military and First Responders—each a reminder that they are not forgotten, thanks to supporters like you. Every Operation Gratitude Care Package contains snacks, personal care products, handmade items, and heartfelt letters from Americans nationwide. These letters, filled with gratitude, are at the heart of Operation Gratitude’s mission to say “thank you” to those who serve selflessly.
Today, over 200,000 American troops are deployed worldwide, often spending long periods away from their families. We invite you to join us in giving back to these men and women, like SGT Harris, this holiday season. A donation of $25 helps us send more Care Packages, delivering comfort, encouragement, and a reminder that these heroes are valued and remembered. Help us remind our nation’s heroes that they’re never alone.
Every contribution makes a difference. Show your gratitude by donating today and help bring a touch of home to those who serve so selflessly.

a dream come true

Sgt. Harris’s trip to Walt Disney World® Resort was nothing short of extraordinary. During their visit, Sgt. Harris and her children were immersed in the magic of Disney, from meeting Mickey Mouse at The Town Square Theater to experiencing the awe of Cinderella Castle for the first time. A special highlight of their trip was Sgt. Harris being honored during the daily Flag Retreat ceremony at Magic Kingdom Park, where her selfless service was recognized in a moment of heartfelt gratitude.
Reflecting on her experience, Sgt. Harris shared, “My family is so grateful to Operation Gratitude and Disney for this vacation of a lifetime. From the moment I opened the box in Southwest Asia to seeing the castle for the first time months later, the whole experience was magical. This opportunity to build these family memories following my service overseas will be something we never forget.” Operation Gratitude is proud to have collaborated with The Walt Disney Company to create such unforgettable moments for a deserving hero and her family.
