Summer Fun In July Without the sunburn
It’s summertime, the children are on break from school, and vacation season is in full swing, but are you having a hard time tearing the kids away from their video games, Tik Tok, or Netflix? Operation Gratitude has the perfect solution! Gather the whole family and join our Jot A Note in July Challenge!
Here’s how it works: Get the family together (yes, you’ll need to tear the kids away from Madden NFL 22) and write four notes each to our service members. But don’t stop there…the challenge takes place the whole month of July. So, recruit your friends and co-workers to participate as well. The more the better!
Take a few moments to express your gratitude to the many men and women serving, across our nation and around the world, who spend precious summertime moments away from their families.
Write a note today to show your gratitude, appreciation and provide a much-needed morale boost to our Military and First Responders. Help us reach our goal of 15,000 letters!
Every Operation Gratitude Care Package includes a handful of notes from grateful Americans thanking our Military and First Responders for their service. Writing a note might seem like a small and simple action but your words can make a powerful and positive impact. Don’t just take our word for it – take the word of our recipients:
“We’re missing our families and friends but know our work here matters to the world and for the safety of our nation. We received your care packages today – and the joy it brought to the faces of everyone I’m deployed with was just amazing. The letters of love brought tears to peoples’ eyes and knowing they’re remembered and cared for is a gift that is priceless to the soul.”
One of the most cherished items in our Care Packages are these notes of thanks from grateful Americans. Some notes go on for a page while others are a heartfelt sentence long “Thank You.” There is no such thing as a typical note— that’s what makes each one so very special to our recipients.
Here are a few ideas to get you started:
- Thank you for your service!
- I appreciate your selfless decision to raise your hand to serve!
- Thank you for keeping me safe!
We can’t wait to get your notes. The Jot A Note in July Challenge is in full swing right now! Join us on the journey!
