From the hand crafted scarves down to the letters, the care packages were very well received and met with great enthusiasm from all personnel within the command

VP-1 is currently deployed, operating P-3C Orion out of FIFTH AND SEVENTH fleet area of operation. This month our command received a large number of care packages from you, and the Flight Engineers would like to extend our sincere gratitude for all that you and the donors do for our forward deployed forces.  From the hand crafted scarves down to the letters, the care packages were very well received and met with great enthusiasm from all personnel within the command.  We again would like to say that we appreciate all that you guys do and thank you for your generosity.  Warm regards,

The gifts and supplies are accepted with grateful hearts and much humility

We are deployed to a very hot, sandy, dusty location in the Navy;s Fifth Fleet area of responsibility. The gifts and supplies are accepted with grateful hearts and much humility. We assure you what you Americans do as volunteers helps fuel the motivation allowing us to be successful.  Much thanks and keep doing what you are doing!

Consider our morale definitely boosted!

Thank you so much for the packages. It’s nice coming into work and receiving a package from complete strangers who appreciate the things we do and the sacrifices we make.  Consider our morale definitely boosted!  The letters were very touching.  It was nice being able to read peoples hand written words and almost feel connected and it helped to put faces behind these packages. The Beanie Babies were a hit along with the playing cards and paracord bracelets and the toothpaste, brushes, deodorant, batteries, shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream and antibacterial hand sanitizer are definitely used.  What’s getting the most use out here, for sure, is the sunscreen.  Lol.  A suggestion for the next packages though, how about some mustache combs for the deployed mustaches?  Thank you for all you do for us

Since we received an abundance of Operation Gratitude boxes, we decided to have a little fun with our CMC by walling off his room with them

We would like to thank you for the care packages that you sent out to us on our deployment to the Middle East. All the supplies found in the boxes were put to good use, especially the sun screen.  The TY Beanie Babies have brought a smile to all of our faces and are now being displayed in the shops here.  Since we received an abundance of Operation Gratitude boxes, we decided to have a little fun with our CMC by wallng off his room with them. Thanks to everyone there at Operation Gratitude, we were able to have a little fun and make our days a little brighter. Hopefully these thank you letters will continue to help keep you motivated to fill more boxes for the next sailors that will be deployed after us.  Thank you again from VPI ADP/
