We receive letters every day from Care Package recipients abroad and at home. Check this page often to read their messages to YOU, the American people, who made their Care Packages possible.

I truly appreciate the love and concern that you’ve shown myself and my unit. Thank you very much for the care package.”

I received your box of goodies at the Placerville Standdown

Dear Team OG, I received your box of goodies at the Placerville Standdown, thank you. I served as a Marine embassy guard (MSG). It was not a declared war zone, but we to defend the embassy grounds when hostiles entered onto the grounds of the embassy. Many times snipers and others would fire from outside us. It was only when we worked as a team of Marines did we overcome. In much the same way as you are doing as a team spreading gratitude to veterans. It reminds me of Phil. 1:6, I am confident of this that, He how began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ J.

Thank you so much!!

Thank you all for the care packages. We are firefighters with the Air Force and we are stationed a few miles away from the Syrian border. Thank you so much!! SSgt W.E.

What a surprise!!

What a surprise!! I was recently on a Honor Flight San Diego trip to Washington DC. The package that you prepared was presented during the celebration dinner. You helped to make my day, THANK YOU B.

You have no idea what a warm feeling you get when you receive a letter like this

Just a quick note of thank you for your kind letter I was given while on the Honor Flight San Diego. You have no idea what a warm feeling you get when you receive a letter like this. It was also an honor to have served you and the rest of our Country during the Korean War. Warmest regards and keep up with the good work you do especially for all us Veterans. D.M.L

For many of us, we never received a welcome home

For many of us, we never received a welcome home. I understand those days in the late ’60s and ’70s our country was going through some very pivotal times and understand that many of our folks were divided over the conflict in Viet Nam. However, the majority of us who served were just doing our duty to support and defend our country and would do it all over. Again, my personal thanks, Grace and Peace B.T.F

It was such a tremendous outpouring of support that I feel deeply humbled and appreciative
