Mail Call

We receive letters every day from Care Package recipients abroad and at home. Check this page often to read their messages to YOU, the American people, who made their Care Packages possible.

I truly appreciate the love and concern that you’ve shown myself and my unit. Thank you very much for the care package.”

It was so heartwarming to see the kids grab the bears and give them hugs

Dear Operation Gratitude,

We had a town hall meeting last week before the upcoming deployment of our 1-64 Armor, 1ABCT, 3ID soldiers. We were able to hand out Battalion Buddies to ALL the kids. It was so heartwarming to see the kids grab the bears and give them hugs. We are incredibly grateful to your organization for lifting the spirits of our soldiers and families. L.L.

The work that you and your volunteers perform is amazing and if you believe in Karma you will reap benefits from all your work

I wanted to drop a note to say Thank You to each and every one of you for the boxes that we all received filled with wonderful goodies. It was very much appreciated and very overwhelming to have received a box for what seems like everyone at our location!

The work that you and your volunteers perform is amazing and if you believe in Karma you will reap benefits from all your work.

On behalf of our “Camp”, we say again Thank You!

Just a note to let you know the pleasure receiving the scarves that came with many other items in the boxes sent

Belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Just a note to let you know the pleasure receiving the scarves that came
with many other items in the boxes sent. I hope you don’t mind that some of
the scarves were given to the Chapel that work with outreach programs, and I
spread the love as a gift to one of the locals daughter here where they
enjoy all things “American”.

We all appreciate your thoughts, caring, and hard work.

One of the best feelings a Soldier can experience is receiving mail

Good afternoon from sunny Iraq! My name is Major E.J. and I am an Officer in the **** Aviation Brigade. I am a full-time Guardsman in the *** National Guard and live in the*** area. I have two young daughters and a rescue pup that are awaiting my return from here.

This is my second deployment. One of the best feelings a Soldier can experience is receiving mail. It doesn’t matter if it’s a small letter or large package, it’s a great feeling that we all look forward to. Mail takes about a month to arrive here.

I’d like to thank you from the bottom of my heart and speak for the rest of my Soldiers. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to compile this package with awesome goodies that we can/certainly will use. God bless you and your families, the Troops, and the United States of America!

Respectfully,

MAJ E.J.

It is awe-inspiring to see the amount of packages you all send

To whom it may concern,

I want to express my gratitude for all that you do. My ship is flooded with boxes provided by your fantastic organization. I love the letters that were provided by the middle and high school students; one provided an email and I wrote him to thank him personally. It is awe-inspiring to see the amount of packages you all send. I want you all to know that what you do is amazing. It feels so good to get a package on a RAS. It is people like you, and organizations like yours that makes me love doing the job that I do. Your work is immensely appreciated, I can’t thank you enough for myself as well as all the other people on this ship and others that have letters to open because of you all. Thank you.

Very Respectfully,
LT J. “B” L.
