Mail Call

We receive letters every day from Care Package recipients abroad and at home. Check this page often to read their messages to YOU, the American people, who made their Care Packages possible.

I truly appreciate the love and concern that you’ve shown myself and my unit. Thank you very much for the care package.”

I just wanted to take a moment to say how honored I felt to receive a thank you

I am an officer with the Metropolitan Police Department in ****. I happen to be an honored recipient of your Operation Gratitude gift bag. I just wanted to take a moment to say how honored I felt to receive a thank you. I also served in the military and received many “thank you” for your service but we all sometimes tend to forget that while the military fights to preserve our freedom it is the police officers that make it possible to keep our families safe in our own backyards. A thank you is not a prerequisite to do a job but it helps in self fulfillment.
Thank You,

A box full of candy and letters may not seem like much but out here it is a truly wonderful gift.

I would like to sincerely thank you very much for the care packages sent over the past two months. It has been amazing to receive letters, toiletries, and gift/snacks enough to share with everyone.
Both boxes that I have received I have been able to share with my division which was received with much enthusiasm and joy. A box full of candy and letters may not seem like much but out here it is a truly wonderful gift.
THANK YOU!!!
Very respectfully,
PO2 Z. S.

I really appreciate it and am LOVING IT

To everyone,
Thank you very much to everyone for preparing and sending me the box of goodies. I really appreciate it and am LOVING IT…. Sorry for the late reply, just been busy on our missions. I pray that you guys continue to send these to all service members that are away from their family on deployment. It really feels good that someone out there is appreciative of what we do. Again thank you and God Bless each and every one of you.

In this day and age we work in an environment where we seldom can do right and are rarely thanked for anything

Good Morning,
I am a police officer with ******* Metropolitan Police Department, I recently received one of your gratitude packages and wanted to take the time to say Thank you! In this day and age we work in an environment where we seldom can do right and are rarely thanked for anything.  I sincerely appreciate any time when someone takes the time to acknowledge our efforts.

I have placed the bracelet that was in the package on my right wrist to remember your generosity

Operation Gratitude,
Thank you for the care package I received over the Christmas and New Years holiday. The candy and toiletries are always a welcome site as well as the rare heat and eat items such as instant mashed potatoes. Thank you for the purple knit cap. On my hairless head it is welcome warmth on cool mornings. I have placed the bracelet that was in the package on my right wrist to remember your generosity,
Thank you again.

I will share the goodies I received with my junior Sailors

Hello I am S.G., a 24 year veteran of the U.S. Navy currently deployed overseas to  ensure peace in the area I am serving. I enjoyed the reading material you sent I appreciate the articles from Carolyn “the Boss” & Angel the VP of Operations. I am sure I have been a recipient of the love you gave before. I will share the goodies I received with my junior Sailors that I have with me who are glad to get packages. Thanks again. Chief S. G.

It warmed my heart

I want to thank you all for all of your hard work in creating such awesome care packages for our military families and for we who have served and who are still serving. It’s always easier to give than receive. It’s actually the first time I have received. It warmed my heart.
