We receive letters every day from Care Package recipients abroad and at home. Check this page often to read their messages to YOU, the American people, who made their Care Packages possible.

I truly appreciate the love and concern that you’ve shown myself and my unit. Thank you very much for the care package.”

I can assure you that their faces lit up with excitement and happiness

Hello all at Operation Gratitude!

My name is Sgt S. N. and I am currently deployed with D co, 3-1 Assault Helicopter Battalion, in Romania. My company all received care packages from your organization and we are all so very grateful. Unfortunately we did not get any pictures. However, I can assure you that their faces lit up with excitement and happiness.  Thank you for all of your love and support.

 God bless!

The boxes brought smiles to our faces

Operation Gratitude,

Today my work center and I received packages from you.  We would like to say thank you and we greatly appreciate your kindness.  The  boxes brought smiles to our faces in a hard time such as deployment being away from our loved ones.  We thank you for your support,

The care package was remarkable

I just wanted to thank you all for the act of kindness so greatly appreciated. The care package was remarkable. I do not have any photos to send but am sure you will get some of the many that were taken throughout the day.   I enjoyed the day, splurge comrade gifts…. I enjoyed it all, the entire day.

You create a spectacular production and give us vets a day to remember.

Hi, guys,

I don’t have any pics for you, but wanted you to know your Care Packages were a significant addition to what was a long, stimulating, most remarkable day trip with Honor Flight to Washington. We got them at the end of the day and liked the thoughtful variety and packaging of ‘good’ stuff. Didn’t stay packaged too long before we vets started getting into such good stuff.

Just wanted to mention this because you and Honor Flight are all volunteers and you should know that working together like you do, you create a spectacular production and give us vets a day to remember.

 My deep thanks,

J. Q.

She sends along her thanks and gratitude to you!

This is a photo of my mother, D. R. She is a 95-year-old WW2 veteran. At her recent reunion with Space Coast Honor Flight, she was given this box of goodies from your organization. She wanted to send you this picture of her with some of the items. She sends along her thanks and gratitude to you!

Sincerely,

L. J.

I really enjoyed reading the notes inside

My name is SGT T W. Thank you for the care package. I really enjoyed reading the notes inside. Is there anyway to respond to the kids and people who left them? It would be nice to reach out to them and thank them for their  words and maybe even show a photo of who got their notes. How do kids get involved with writing notes to soldiers?
