Mail Call

We receive letters every day from Care Package recipients abroad and at home. Check this page often to read their messages to YOU, the American people, who made their Care Packages possible.

I truly appreciate the love and concern that you’ve shown myself and my unit. Thank you very much for the care package.”

I OVED everything in it!! It had ALL my favorites too

Hello!

I received a care package from you yesterday. I wanted to thank you for it! It was so wonderful!! I LOVED everything in it!! It had ALL my favorites too! In fact, one of the girls here with me walked by and said “Oh, who is that from?” I said “I’m not sure”, and we read the box together, but she continued to say “Oh! I thought it was from a good friend! It has all of your favorite things!” And the notes from the kids were so cute too! Your package really made my day! Please thank everyone for me and send my appreciation and gratitude!!

Sincerely

E.U.

Knowing we have the support of the people we are serving to protect gives us a stronger determination to fulfil our missions

Team Operation Gratitude,

I want to take a minute and thank you for your support and care packages sent to my Soldiers and myself. Being deployed to different parts of the world and being away from home can be difficult for Soldiers. Your care packages help improve morale and lessen the sting of being apart from our families. The little notes and cards of gratitude and support makes us feel that what we do is all worth it. Knowing we have the support of the people we are serving to protect gives us a stronger determination to fulfil our missions. May God bless your team for your dedication and support of the US military. Thank you again.

I started to open my box and another Airman came up and was like “So, what did WE get”?

Good Morning,

Thank you so much for my care package. I really appreciate y’all thinking of me out here in Kuwait and it has really brightened my day. I started to open my box and another Airman came up and was like “So, what did WE get”? So, I have shared some of the items that were in the care package with him. Thank you so much!!

They have been a great morale boost for our flight over here in the Middle East

Good Morning Operation Gratitude!

We want to sincerely thank you for the packages we have been receiving over this deployment. They have been a great morale boost for our flight over here in the Middle East. We appreciate all the hard work put into the packages and can’t thank you enough for all the love being sent our way. I attached our group photo with the goodies from the care packages. J

Thank you,

I particularly love the letters from the kids because they’re really a big part of why we do this and it’s a nice reminder.

Hello!

Unfortunately I cannot provide any pictures at this time but I did take some that I will try to remember to send later of all of us opening our care packages. Mail day on an aircraft carrier is akin to Christmas. It is one of the days I think most of us enjoy. Every person in my work center here on the Ike received one of the care packages from ya’ll over at Operation Gratitude and it definitely put some smiles on our faces. The magic cards and comic books were both big hits with us. I particularly love the letters from the kids because they’re really a big part of why we do this and it’s a nice reminder.

Thank you from all of us here! We really appreciate everything you’re doing for us and the other members of the military. Morale is very high today!

Very Respectfully

I sent her two packages 3 weeks ago and she had not received them, but she did receive the ones you sent

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for the care package you sent to my daughter, K.W., who is deployed on the USS Eisenhower in the US Navy. She emailed me today and said she received the packages. I sent her two packages 3 weeks ago and she had not received them, but she did receive the ones you sent. Being the parent of a deployed sailor is  hard because you are constantly worried and concerned about your grown child. But I just wanted to take the time to say thank you and keep up the good work.

This little ray of sunshine was much needed, as the unfortunate spread of the Coronavirus has stopped all of our possible port visits

Dear Sir/Ma’am,

Here on the USS San Jacinto, we recently received a shipment of care packages from y’all at Operation Gratitude. This little ray of sunshine was much needed, as the unfortunate spread of the Coronavirus has stopped all of our possible port visits. As of right now, we have been underway for 61 consecutive days, and are expecting another 50+ before we get a break. Like I said, much needed…

We are all so thankful for your generosity.

What you do makes what we do a little easier, and it means a lot to every one of us. Please keep being great.

Very Respectfully,

We all loved the thoughtful messages that were written and we proudly display them in random places throughout our base

Hello,

I am TSgt W.H., I wanted to reach out to your organization and thank you for the wonderful care package you sent to our organization. You can tell there was a lot of thought and attention applied when your box was created. We all loved the thoughtful messages that were written and we proudly display them in random places throughout our base.

As a personal thank you, I would like to fly a flag in your honor and send it to you upon my return back to the U.S.   All I ask for is a mailing address and a name to display. It will be awhile before I can get it out to you but I promise it will be done.

Again Thank You for your love and support, God bless you and God bless America
