I haven’t seen all my brothers and sisters smile and laugh like they did today and it is all thanks to you and the many wonderful people in your organization

Operation Gratitude,

Thank you so much for these care packages. We were at a mid-point slump in regards to morale and that all changed when a truck full of care packages arrived at my unit. It was amazing to see everyone’s mood change and watch all our people smiling as they open their box. I mean everyone, even our quiet kid who keeps to himself was genuinely happy and reading his cards out loud. We had another individual receive a card written in Spanish from a 10yr old boy who immigrated into the United States. The recipient read it with the help of those of us that speak Spanish and was extremely grateful to have received that letter.

To know that there are so many people who would come together and donate items, time and energy to make these packages possible is truly heartwarming. I haven’t seen all my brothers and sisters smile and laugh like they did today and it is all thanks to you and the many wonderful people in your organization.
