Since 2003, Operation Gratitude has sent more than 3 million care packages to deployed service members who have selflessly chosen to serve our country. We understand no one knows that sacrifice more than the military families who are at home while their service members are away fighting for our freedom. To lift the spirits of military children, we have sent more than 48,000 Battalion Buddy Bears to the children of deployed troops.

Military Families serve our nation in their own special way, and we are committed to letting them know we are grateful for their service, too.

The effort and energy that went into providing a simple act of love to the kids of this Brigade will never be forgotten. I am grateful that organizations like yours exist to recognize the sacrifice our families make for this nation. You, your team and your volunteers help us remember, in these times, that love and a community of family transcends all; and that while we are away, our loved ones will always be taken care of.

I, and the Paratroopers of this Brigade, consider you all part of the Devil family now. We will be forever grateful and I hope that when we return, we can thank you in person.

“The bears were a HUGE hit!!! This is an amazing program and if it is ok with you I would like to help spread the word about your program with other ombudsmen. I see how much joy it gave our crew and the kids! These bears are great quality. Watching the parents pass them out to their children was heartwarming. We changed the name to “Gator Aloha” instead of “Sad Picnic”. It was a huge success and I definitely know that the bears played a HUGE part in that.
