Operation Gratitude’s “FOB” is our headquarters – the center of operations for our Care Package production. As Veterans Day approaches, we aim to remind our nation’s veterans that their brave and honorable choice to serve our country will always be celebrated and never forgotten. Our goal is to fill an entire wall with flags, resulting in a beautiful display of support, respect, and gratitude to honor these brave souls.

Our impact - In their words

I received a wonderful box of items from your organization during my trip with Old Dominion Honor Flight this past Saturday. Thank you so much for this expression of love and gratitude to me and all of the many veterans and active servicemen you bless. As a Vietnam Veteran 1968 was a long time ago but still fresh in my memory. This experience was one of healing and truly feeling that the veterans of our Country are loved, supported and appreciated.

Thank you so much for the gifts you sent me and the other veterans at Veterans Victory House in Walterboro SC. The kind thoughtful letter brought tears to my and my sisters eyes when we read the letter reminding us that we are not forgotten! We appreciate all you have done for us and others. God bless you all and again Thank you all for your kindness shown to us!
To the volunteers and supporters of Operation Gratitude, thank you for the gift box. It has been 15 years since I retired from the Army, and I never thought anyone still cared about my service. I didn’t make a name for myself by becoming a General or Senior Commissioned Officer, but I would like to think I provided my units and my country with the very best I had...Again, thank you for what you do!
