Since 2003, we have worked with a wide array of companies across the United States to provide meaningful opportunities for employees and local communities to say “Thank You” to our nation’s heroes.

All items in our Care Packages are donated by the American public; the majority of these items are donated by businesses –manufacturers, distributors and retailers– that would like to send their items to our Military and First Responder communities.
Our Care Packages contain an assortment of items including snack foods (eg. hot and cold drink mixes, jerky, trail mix, energy bars, cookies, and candy), t-shirts, hats, socks, personal cooling products, entertainment items (eg. DVDs, CDs, cameras, small plush animals, games, novelties, stationery and more), personal care products (eg. toothpaste, sunscreen, lip balm, foot powder), as well as letters from Americans of all ages.
All donated items must have a shelf-life/expiration date of at least 1 year from the date of our receipt. Thank you for your understanding of this important requirement.

Whether you would like to send fifty, one hundred, five-thousand, fifty-thousand items, or more — we will distribute these products to a very grateful Military and First Responder community! We are often called “The Best Sampling Program” to develop life-long product and brand loyalty.
There are a variety ways — both traditional and creative — for your business to support Operation Gratitude financially.
The cost to assemble and ship each Care Package is $15. In 2015, Operation Gratitude shipped more than 214,000 packages. In 2016, we plan to send another 200,000 or more!
Throughout the year, we collaborate with companies to create successful cause marketing campaigns, social media engagement opportunities, product launches, event sponsorships, corporate matching donations and more. Companies can also make a financial gift online.

Volunteer at Operation Gratitude
Employee groups of 25 or less are always welcome to join us on our scheduled “Assembly Days” that are hosted throughout the year in Chatsworth, California. We have volunteer opportunities for all adults, including those who require special accommodations.
Here are the remaining 2016 Scheduled Assembly Days:
- Saturday, October 15 – 9:00am – 12:00 pm
- Wednesday, October 26 – 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm **This is an afternoon Assembly Day**
- Saturday, November 19 – 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Sunday, December 11 – 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Saturday, December 17 – 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm **This is an afternoon Assembly Day**
We also offer volunteer opportunities for larger employee groups. Both weekday and weekend dates are available on a limited basis. Please contact us well in advance to register your group so we can ensure a rewarding experience for all.
Host an Event at Your Headquarters, Conference or Trade Show
You can host a rewarding Employee Engagement Volunteer event at a location of your choice. We have created tutorial materials for you to use in your planning efforts.
If you would like Operation Gratitude’s help with your event, let’s talk! A few of the options for fun and engaging activities include: Care Kit Assembly, making Battalion Buddy stuffed animals for Military children, and weaving Paracord Survival Bracelets.
Host a Letter Writing Campaign or a Collection Drive
A simple, yet very meaningful way that many businesses start a relationship with Operation Gratitude is by hosting a Letter Writing Campaign or a Collection Drive with their employees, customers, vendors, and other related communities.
We strive to include several personal letters in every Care Package. In fact, in 2015 alone, we sent over 642,000 handwritten letters of support to our troops! We encourage you to use your letterhead or logo’d postcards for these messages.
Collection Drives are an important way to help us fill each of our Care Packages with up to 50 unique items. Our Wish List serves as a guide for selecting the kinds of “goodies” our troops and veterans like to receive.

Organize a Smartphone/Cell Phone Recycling Campaign
Your business can start a smartphone and cell phone recycling campaign to support the troops and benefit Operation Gratitude.
