Our Sheriff, J.W.M. placed your care packages at our desks to be here when we arrived to work this morning

Good morning.

Our Sheriff, J.W.M. placed your care packages at our desks to be here when we arrived to work this morning. I just wanted to say thank you for the kind gesture. I’m sure our Deputies will appreciate it as well. Thanks again for all that you do.  Lt. K.E.M.

A Huge Thank You From a 97-year-old veteran

Thank you to Operation Gratitude. You have made an old Navy guy very happy. He served in the Pacific during World War II on the USS Fletcher DD445. He was so pleased to receive one of your special care packages today. Just being remembered made his day.   J.J.

Thank you again,
The family of J.V.J.

It really meant a lot to him and us as his parents to see the love and support for the young recruits!

Thank you so much for the gift boxes that USCG Juliet194 received when graduating from boot camp. It was so thoughtful and our son was so glad to have some much need toiletries and essential items to take with him to his new unit! It really meant a lot to him and us as his parents to see the love and support for the young recruits!
Thank you  M.Y

Keep doing what you are doing as I know it brings smiles and shows appreciation to our first responders especially those that do it out of he kindness of our hearts as volunteers who don’t get paid!!

I tried posting a thank you with photos to your Facebook page but couldn’t find a way to do so I am sending an email instead! Thank you so much for the First Responder Care Kit that I received tonight! I know our whole department greatly appreciates them! We are a completely volunteer EMS service in he state of ***  and our town has about 1300 people total 🙂 These kits are a neat idea and I had never heard of them before. Wish I would have known about this organization when my husband was deployed to Afghanistan (or as I referred to it the sandbox) Keep doing what you are doing as I know it brings smiles and shows appreciation to our first responders especially those that do it out of he kindness of our hearts as volunteers who  don’t get paid!!

It is the little things that mean the most

have been a Deputy with the O.  County Sheriff’s Office for 18 yrs.  I received your Operation Gratitude care package and was extremely grateful for your kindness and the thoughtfulness that went into the package.

Even though there are plenty of military personnel who deserve this more than me, it still reminds me of why I got into law enforcement many years ago and to know that the majority of the public still thinks of us and wants to show how much they care by doing little things,  such as giving a care package.

It is greatly appreciated and I wanted to pass on my thankfulness to everyone at Operation Gratitude.

Please let everyone there know to keep up the kind acts.  It is the little things that mean the most.

Deputy G. M.
