WHAT THE TROOPS SAY:
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful Operation Gratitude care package that I received yesterday. It was such a wonderful feeling to be opening up a package sent to us with love by those who do not even know us. What you are doing is far more valuable to us than you all may think. As I get ready to end my deployment and time in the service, I will forever remember the simple package of love and morale that was sent to me by everyone who volunteers their time with Operation Gratitude. Thank you V/R AM3(AW) A.C. USN”
“Thanks for the care package that was received today. I usually don’t receive any packages, so today when I picked up the mail and was told a package was for me, I was elated. I have only been here for four months, which seems like eternity when you are away from your family. I still have eleven more months to go, but I really do love serving my country. It’s people like you that really make me appreciate what we do. Thanks again, SPC K.K.”
