WHAT THE TROOPS SAY:
“I would like to thank you for your kindness, thoughtfulness, and support in sending me the wonderful care packages that you did! It’s always good to hear from people expressing their appreciation for the efforts and sacrifices that we are making to help further the cause of independence here in Iraq. It’s people like yourselves that make what we’re doing over here worthwhile. So again, I say thank you for your thoughtfulness, kindness and your generosity for they are deeply appreciated.” SPC RJL
“It means the world to all of the troops here in Afghanistan to know the folks back in America support us and are behind us. It is hard enough being away from home and loved ones, but it would be even harder if we thought our efforts were oh behalf of an ungrateful nation. Your letters and packages are well received. Please know that your kind thoughts, prayers, and actions are felt by the troops and we all appreciate it more than you can ever know! THANK YOU!!!” CPT D.R.
“Thanks so much for all that you do for the troops. By the way, your packages are known here as “the good ones”. Your packages seem to have items in them that soldiers truly need and appreciate. Especially the DVD’s. That is a big thing here to pass the time, the DVD’s. When I am home (I’m a Reservist) I plan to send care packages as well 🙂 and not forget what it means to the person who receives it.” SGT N.M.
